Mairzeydoats

and dozeydoats and little lamzydivey.  And so, evidently, do little deer.

  1. This deer looks so peaceful. Last week we were also visited by a young buck that decided to blissfully snooze under our palm tree - until a friend came by. It's not clear who jumped higher!!

Your blog is a nice reprieve,
    Lois.

  2. Little deer grow up to be big deer and can eat almost as much even while they're little, so I continue to harden my vegetable gardener's heart. Meantime, since I don't think I want to gunk up my Droll Yankee battery-operated bird feeders with hot sauce, I'm trying the experiment I came up with during our conversation at lunch yesterday--viz., putting various supernumerary dry rubs into the birdseed. Am leaving the feeders out tonight with an expired fajita mix in one and McCormick's Montreal Steak seasoning in the other. We'll see...

  3. I wonder if the seasonings would affect the quality of the venison?
